A quiet morning in North Linden was abruptly shattered early Tuesday when gunfire erupted near a neighborhood anchor, leaving one individual hospitalized and local authorities locking down the scene.

The Breakdown

The block was active well before Sunrise, prompting an immediate response from emergency units to stabilize the area.

  • The Call: Columbus Division of Police officers rushed to the area of Myrtle Avenue just before 4:00 a.m. following reports of shots fired.
