1 shot, injured in North Linden (WSYX) A quiet morning in North Linden was abruptly shattered early Tuesday when gunfire erupted near a neighborhood anchor, leaving one individual hospitalized and local authorities locking down the scene. The Breakdown The block was active well before Sunrise, prompting an immediate response from emergency units to stabilize the area. The Call: Columbus Division of Police officers rushed to the area of Myrtle Avenue just before 4:00 a.m. following reports of shots fired. The Perimeter: The incident went down roughly one block away from the Linden Community Center. The Transport: First responders located one victim at the scene, who was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
